3 "Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares" is Bloody Brilliant Television, If I Do Say So Myself!

Is anyone else a fan of Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares? A friend of ours got us into this show & it's "bloody brilliant television, if I do say so, young chap"! ;-)

Meet Gordon Ramsay -- ex-professional footballer, 7-Michelin star restauranteur, & foul-mouthed chef who isn't afraid to tell it like it is to failing restaurant owners & cooks who need all the help they can get. This show is hilarious! It's reality TV at its funniest & most outrageous!

Apparently, there's an American version of the show, done in a different format. I haven't seen the American version of the show yet (not sure which channel or of the exact airing date), but have heard that it's not going to be in the same format as the British version. Of course, I imagine that they'd have to bleep out the entire show, unless it was on a pay cable channel like HBO. ;-)

Here's the BBC America program info: Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares.

Hey Corey, new to your blog but looking forward to reading more. Love Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares, but like you have only seen the BBC version. I didn't know the US version (on Fox?) had even begun yet. I went to his restaurant in New York last December. I have to say I was a little disappointed. The food was good, but not inspiring. Best, F

I've seen the American version (Hells Kitchen) and I LOVE IT! I haven't watched this season but last season was great!

He is one tough cookie that doesn't pull any punches...just telling it like it is.

He's excruciatingly passionate about what he is doing and doesn't just bash for the sake of bashing as some of these people are really clueless; like the antique store owner that decides to change it to a restaurant...where on earth did she get an idea like that? It just doesn't strike me as taking the logical steps at arriving at a good decision (did that make any sense?). But with a little *ss kicking from CHEF they appeared (as do many) to pull their heads out, change hair conditioners and got the business running better

My wife and I love the show. Nubia mentioned "Hell's Kitchen" and that's another good one, but I don't think it is the American version you referred to; I seem to recall hearing of an American Kitchen Nightmares somewhere.

I definitely prefer "nightmares" to "kitchen" as it is more realistic and not a contest.

If you haven't, check out "Dinner Impossible" on the Food Network...good stuff.

BTW: I don't cook, nor do I like it, why would I enjoy these shows so much then?
